1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
• Use a new self-locking nut.
• Tighten the nut with the bolt head secured when installing the adjusting bolt.
2. Rear differential attachment and tightening torque;
or
3. When attaching the rear vehicle height sensor bracket to the lateral link and rear crossmember, tighten to the following torque values.
Tightening torque
7.5 N·m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
4. Always tighten bushings with wheels in full contact with the ground and the vehicle at curb weight.
5. Inspect the wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
6. Re-initialize the auto headlight beam leveler system. (Model with HID)
