1. Attach the drive select cable to the lever COMPL, and affix with a clip.

2. Install the drive select lever.
Tightening torque:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft-lb)
3. Check that the transmission is in the HI position. If not in HI position, pull the cable to put the transmission in HI position.
4. Set the drive select lever to the HI position.

5. Insert the cable eye end bolt to the slit on the lever arm.

6. With the cable eye end affixed securely, tighten the nuts.
Tightening torque:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft-lb)
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
