CHECK SECONDARY AIR PIPING PRESSURE.

1) Turn the ignition switch to ON (engine OFF).

2) Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read secondary air piping pressure data, and compare with the actual barometric pressure.

QUESTION

Is the difference with the actual barometric pressure 50 mmHg (6.7 kPa, 2.0 inHg, 0.97 psig) or more?

Yes No

Replace the secondary air combination valve (LH).

NOTE:

The secondary air pressure sensor is a built-in part of the secondary air combination valve (LH).
