COMPRESSOR SPEED SENSOR

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Compressor does not rotate because of some reasons (belt cutting, compressor seizing, low refrigerant pressure, malfunction of magnet clutch)

• A/C does not operate.

1.CHECK COMPRESSOR SPEED SENSOR.

1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

2) Disconnect the connector from compressor speed sensor.

3) Use a tester to measure the resistance compressor speed sensor.

Connector & terminal

(F24) No. 3 — No. 2:

Is the resistance between 1.46 — 1.78 kΩ?

Replace the A/C compressor.

2.CHECK HARNESS.

1) Disconnect the connector from the A/C control module.

2) Check the harness between A/C control module and compressor speed sensor.

(F24) No. 3 — (i88) No. 38:

(F24) No. 2 — (i88) No. 14:

Is there any open or power supply-output short, GND-output short in harness?

Replace the A/C control module.

Repaiar the harness between A/C control module and compressor speed sensor.
