DTC B2101 SUBMERGING CIRCUIT ABNORMAL

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Water logged circuit fault in the power supply CM

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• The power does not turn ON, or the keyless access system does not operate.

• The ignition can be turned ON, but cannot be turned OFF.

• Engine will not start.

• Diesel engine model

1.CHECK HARNESS AND MODULE.

1) Disconnect the power supply CM connector (B420).

2) Make sure there is no moisture on the power supply CM and connector.

Is there any moisture in the power supply CM attachment area, or on connectors, harness, or power supply CM?

Repair any leaking rain and other causes of the moisture, and replace the power supply CM.

2.CHECK HARNESS.

Measure the resistance between the power supply CM connector terminal and chassis ground.

(B420) No. 40 — Chassis ground:

Is the resistance less than 10 Ω?

Replace the power supply CM.

Repair or replace the open circuit of the harness.
