DTC B2203 ABNORMAL IMMOBILIZER POWER SUPPLY

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Open or short circuit in the engine ignition switch power supply circuit.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Engine will not start.

• The keyless access system function does not operate.

WIRING DIAGRAM:

1.CHECK WIRING HARNESS.

Using a tester, measure the voltage between push button ignition switch terminals.

Connector & terminal

(B423) No. 14 (+) — Chassis ground (−):

Is the voltage 4.5 — 5.5 V?

Repair or replace the open circuit of harness.

2.CHECK WIRING HARNESS.

Using a tester, check the continuity between the push button ignition switch connector and chassis ground.

Connector & terminal

(B423) No. 8 — Chassis ground:

Is there continuity?

Replace the push button ignition switch.

3.CHECK DTC.

1) Use the Subaru Select Monitor to clear the DTC code.

2) Read the DTC again.

Is a DTC displayed?

Replace the collation CM.

System is normal.
