DTC P0341 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR “A” CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE (BANK 1 OR SINGLE SENSOR)

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Engine stalls.

• Failure of engine to start

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .

WIRING DIAGRAM:

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK CONDITION OF CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.	Is the camshaft position sensor installation bolt tightened securely?		Tighten the camshaft position sensor installation bolt securely.
2.CHECK CAMSHAFT PLATE.	Is there dirt or damage in camshaft plate?	Clean or replace the camshaft plate.
3.CHECK POOR CONTACT. Check for poor contact of ECM connector and camshaft position sensor connector.	Is there poor contact in ECM connector or camshaft position sensor connector?	Repair the poor contact of ECM connector or camshaft position sensor connector.	Replace the camshaft position sensor.
