ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS)(H4DOTC DIESEL) > Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Detected when two consecutive driving cycles with fault occur.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

• Engine speed does not rise.

• Engine speed drops.

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode .

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK FOR ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.	Is any other DTC displayed?	Check the appropriate DTC using the “List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)”.
2.CHECK EGR CONTROL VALVE. Check EGR control valve.	Is EGR control valve normal?	Repair poor contact of ECM connector, EGR control valve or coupling connector.	Replace EGR control valve.
