EXHAUST(H4DO) > Front Exhaust Pipe
1. INTEGRATED FRONT EXHAUST PIPE
2. Install the front exhaust pipe to vehicle body.
NOTE:
Use a new gasket.
3. Temporarily tighten the nuts which hold front exhaust pipe to cylinder heads.
4. Install the front exhaust pipe to the rear exhaust pipe.
NOTE:
Use a new gasket.
Tightening torque:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
5. Attach the bolts which install front exhaust pipe to hanger bracket.
Tightening torque:
35 N·m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
6. Tighten the nuts which hold front exhaust pipe to cylinder heads.
Tightening torque:
30 N·m (3.1 kgf-m, 22.1 ft-lb)
7. Install the under cover.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Connect the front oxygen (A/F) sensor connector (A) and rear oxygen sensor connector (B), and fasten them with the harness clip (C).
11. Connect the ground cable to battery.
2. SEPARATE-TYPE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE
2. Install the center exhaust pipe to front exhaust pipe.
NOTE:
Use a new gasket.
Tightening torque:
40 N·m (4.1 kgf-m, 29.5 ft-lb)
3. Install the front and center exhaust pipe assembly to vehicle body.
NOTE:
Use a new gasket.
4. Temporarily tighten the nuts which hold front exhaust pipe to cylinder heads.
5. Install the center exhaust pipe to rear exhaust pipe.
NOTE:
Use a new gasket.
Tightening torque:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
6. Tighten the bolts which install center exhaust pipe to hanger bracket.
Tightening torque:
35 N·m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
7. Tighten the nuts which hold front exhaust pipe to cylinder heads.
Tightening torque:
30 N·m (3.1 kgf-m, 22.1 ft-lb)
8. Install the under cover.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Connect the front oxygen (A/F) sensor connector (A) and rear oxygen sensor connector (B), and fasten them with the harness clip (C).
12. Connect the ground cable to battery.
