EXHAUST(H4DOTC DIESEL) > Catalytic Converter and DPF
CAUTION:
Components are extremely hot after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the collector cover.
4. Disconnect connectors of exhaust temperature sensor 1 and 2.
5. Remove the clip holding the exhaust temperature sensor 2 from the oil level gauge guide.
6. Lift up the vehicle.
7. Remove the under cover.
8. Remove the DPF pressure difference sensor hose.
9. Separate the catalytic converter and DPF from the exhaust pipe (front).
10. Remove the engine ground (LH).
11. Remove the exhaust temperature sensor 1.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the sensor.
12. Separate the catalytic converter and DPF from the turbocharger.
13. Remove securing bolt from the hanger bracket.
14. Remove the catalytic converter and DPF.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to drop the catalytic converter and DPF.

15. Remove the hanger bracket and the bracket from the cylinder head (LH).
16. Remove the nut and separate the hanger bracket and the bracket.
