MECHANICAL(H4DOTC DIESEL) > Cam Sprocket
1. Attach the cam sprocket to the camshaft.
NOTE:
Align the position using the camshaft knock pin and the stamp on the cam sprocket.

2. Attach the camshaft plate to the tip of the intake cam sprocket (RH).

3. Install the cam sprocket.
(1) Fasten the cam sprocket and install to the camshaft using ST.

| ST2 18334AA030 | PULLEY WRENCH PIN SET |
Tightening torque:
29.5 N·m (3.0 kgf-m, 21.8 ft-lb)
(2) Further tighten the bolts.
NOTE:
The illustration shows the intake cam sprocket (RH).

Tightening angle:
25°±5°
6. Attach the oil level gauge and oil level gauge guide to the chain cover.
19. Install the under cover.
20. Lower the vehicle.
23. Connect the ground cable to battery.
