1. Install the turbocharger.
Tightening torque:
42.5 N·m (4.3 kgf-m, 31.3 ft-lb)
2. Install exhaust cover C.
Tightening torque:
7.5 N·m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
3. Install the exhaust cover.
Tightening torque:
6.4 N·m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
4. Install the catalytic converter and DPF. 
5. Connect the actuator hose.
6. Connect the water hose, oil balance hose, and turbo pipe to the turbocharger.
NOTE:
Use a new gasket for the turbo pipe.
Tightening torque:
16 N·m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)

Assemble by facing the marking towards the rear of the engine. |

7. Degrease the connections of air intake duct and air duct hose.
8. Install the air intake duct and air duct hose.
NOTE:
Install the clamp 3 — 5 mm (0.1181 — 0.1969 in) away from the end of the hose. Do not let the clamp ride over the bulge.
Tightening torque:
Air intake duct
3 N·m (0.3 kgf-m, 2.2 ft-lb)
Air duct hose
5.5 N·m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.1 ft-lb)

9. Install the turbo protector.
NOTE:
Use a new bolt for bolt (A) shown in the figure below.
Tightening torque:
25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)
10. Install the exhaust manifold (LH).
11. Install the under cover.
12. Lower the vehicle.
13. Check the engine coolant and engine oil levels, and add as necessary.
