1. Prepare an oscilloscope.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
3. Disconnect the ECM connector.
4. Set the ST between the ECM and body harness.

5. Connect the ground cable to battery.
6. Connect the oscilloscope to the check board connector.

Ground harness:
No. 63
7. Start the engine and let it idle.
8. Check that the oscilloscope pattern is as same as the waveform and voltage shown below.
