1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the collector cover.
3. Remove the chain cover. 
4. Rotate the crankshaft using the ST, and align the alignment mark of the reduction sprocket and gear with that of the fuel pump gear.

5. Install the M6 bolt of the fuel pump gear.
CAUTION:
• Use a M6 bolt with a bolt length (except for head) of approx. 10 mm (0.3937 in).
• Tighten the M6 bolt until the bolt seat fully contacts the sub gear.

6. Set the ST on the crankshaft to secure it and loosen the fuel pump gear nuts.

7. Use the ST to remove the fuel pump gear.
