1. Remove the intercooler. 
2. Disconnect the harness of back-up light switch and the neutral position switch from clips.

3. Remove the transmission case cover attachment bolts (for the pitching stopper bracket).

4. Lift up the vehicle.
5. Remove the transmission under cover.
6. Remove the cable clamp.

7. Remove the dust cover from transmission.

8. Remove the snap pin and washer from the shift lever COMPL.

9. Remove the bolts holding the shift bracket.

10. Remove the shift bracket and MT gear shift cable as a single unit from transmission.
CAUTION:
Do not bend MT gear shift cable at a sharp angle.
NOTE:
Move the removed MT gear shift cable and shift bracket over the drive shaft (RH).

11. Remove the transmission case cover attachment bolts and clips.

12. While lifting the MT gear shift cable and MT gear select cable, remove the transmission case cover by sliding it along the transmission to the right.
CAUTION:
Do not bend MT gear shift cable and MT gear select cable at a sharp angle.
