PROCEDURE

1. Check that the vehicle status is as follows:

• Ignition switch OFF

• One window is completely open

• Driver’s door lock is unlocked

• Driver’s door is closed

• Keyless access system is activated (or disabled if re-activating)

2. Sit in the driver’s seat and press the manual UNLOCK switch once.

3. Within five seconds, close → open the driver’s door.

4. Within five seconds, press the manual UNLOCK switch twice.

5. Within 30 seconds, open → close → open → close → open the driver’s door.

6. Within 30 seconds, press the manual UNLOCK switch twice.

7. Within 30 seconds, open → close → open the driver’s door.

8. Within five seconds, open → close the driver’s door. The buzzer sounds twice to indicate that the keyless access system is disabled (when the system is disabled the buzzer sounds once to indicate that it is activated).

NOTE:

• Perform the same procedures to re-activate the keyless access system from the disabled condition.

• If the driver’s door is opened or closed in step 4 or step 6, the cancel operation is disabled.
